Custom Exhaust
There are some great reasons to go with a high flow system. Better performance, better gas mileage...and dual pipes look kinda cool. The only drawback is your car will be louder, if you call that a drawback.
Basically, you want to reduce the air resistance. If air resistance or back-pressure makes it hard for exhaust to exit a cylinder, it robs the engine of power. A high flow system allows exhaust to vent more freely for better gas mileage and horse power. All exhaust components offer higher flow options than the manufaturer typically installs: Manifold to header, catalytic converter and catback(everything after the "cat" = muffler, piping and tailpipe).
